3. No Guarantees / No Admissions Promises

4. Accounts, Communications, and Accuracy

5. Purchases, Digital Products, and Delivery

5.1 Pricing & Taxes

Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and may change without notice. Taxes may be applied where required.

5.2 Delivery

  • Email delivery to the address used at checkout

It is your responsibility to enter the correct email address and ensure deliverability.

5.3 All Sales Final (Digital Products)

Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the checkout page or product page, digital products are non-refundable due to the nature of instant access and delivery.

5.4 Chargebacks

You agree to contact us first at contact@theacademicpit.com to resolve billing issues before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in revoked access to products and future purchase restrictions.

6. License to Use Digital Products (Personal Use Only)

When you purchase or download content from The Academic Pit, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal use only.

You may not:

  • Share, resell, distribute, or reproduce the materials

You may:

  • Print for personal use

  • Use worksheets/templates for your own application process

10. Coaching/Editing Boundaries (Academic Integrity)

We provide feedback, strategy, and editing guidance. We do not support unethical academic misconduct or misrepresentation. You agree not to use our materials or services to:

  • fabricate experiences, credentials, affiliations, or data

  • submit work you did not author (where authorship is required)

  • violate institutional policies

11. Third-Party Services and Links

We may link to third-party websites or use third-party providers (payment processors, email platforms, analytics). We are not responsible for third-party content, terms, or privacy practices.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant product/service.
